Wow, what a strong story. Very well written. This story puts into perspective as to why many women stay in abusive relationships, all because of love or what they think is love.

That was so heart-breaking, just to read it, but to live through it would be almost unbarable. I thought you captured the essence of such tragic circumstances and Usagi in this narrative represents all abused womenand the sad truth is that it goes on far too much, the domestic violence and its shocking consequences. WISE: a Story well written and based on real events reminds us of how a story of this sort can convey so much to the reader.

I think you did the subject justice. Some minor typos and structure-grammar and fragmented sentences, but these didn't take away from your piece. Please check out writer's tips' in the writer's forums to brush up on tech stuff.

All-in-all, a powerful and insightful story. Well done. L.

It was poignant, and beautiful in a gut wrenching sort of way. Sometimes people just can't get past their love for someone so they can save themselves. Thank you for sharing the pain. it makes it easier to bear when others take some of the load. blessings.

great story, it is so sad that things like that really happen. There were a few errors near the begining and the end there were some sentences that were repeated and the sentence starting with A short time later found him at the emergency room of Tokyo General Hospital... should not be in quotes

What a fabulous piece of work! You capture Mamoru's emotions so well, and though we don't see Usagi very much, as a reader I can still understand her determination. The story is so short! I wish you would fill it out some, not with other flashbacks, but with descriptions of the surroundings and people, and some more action. Maybe you could try starting the story earlier, or keeping the introduction as it is and then go back to other events; I don't think an explanation would be necessary, give your readers some credit!
Great job!
