This story is getting better and your writing style is improving in leaps an bounds. In chapter 15, I was eagerly reading every word as I was caught up in the suspense of the story. It's good to see Serenity developing a backbone - I can't wait to read the next update!

I have been following this story since about 3 or 4 years ago...I still love it. I read your writing before embarking on my own, as inspiration. And your author's notes make me feel like you're a kindred spirit...I, too, began writing a long time ago, as a teenager, and got a little lost along the way, and am struggling to pick back up that fanciful strain of writing that I used to capture late at night or very early in the morning.

You definitely have grown as a writer -- I feel the difference between chapter 11 and the subsequent chapters -- but it is all for the better, as Tsuki no Namida has become even more compelling and beautiful as time has worn on. I've never given up on this story as I'm so interested to see what will happen next! I cannot wait to see more of what you'll write and even if you only come out with one more chapter a year, I'll grow along with the story as I read it.

Being a bit of a lurker, I've read plenty of great SM fics, but this one, and a couple of others right now on the site written about the Silver Milenium, are uber good and this is no different!!! Love it, looking forward to another one!!!

Man.. =s Endymion is being a huge jerk. Even so, I would just hate it if Serenity was with anyone else.

Whoops, I meant the last review to be a private one, oh well, doesn't matter BC I wanted to say the images in chapter 2 were absolutely striking, particularly the images of the butterflies landing on Serena's arm and the birds also, the fountain and that entire sequence has a breathtaking visual style that is lavish and supports the text, so rare a gift.

I think of people like Stormlight, Alicia Blade, Baine, Crystal Rose, Aria and Alaverity, Lady Solo, Goddess Althena, Jessica Pendragon and Lady Moon Cat, Zai Zai and others also come to mind, but oh so good! I am looking forward to losing myself in this fic. Good on you for taking up the pen or keyboard' ^^ in this case, and continuing and I bet you've plenty more stories to share with us, too!

This story keeps getting better and better! After everything that's happened thus far, I would have been very disappointed in Serenity if she had taken Endymion back, so I think you did a fantastic job with the final scene. Every character is very well defined, and behaving very logically, even during emotion fueled scenes (I hope that makes sense!). Also, reading about Endymion touring the abyss - I had hoped you'd put a scene like that in the story! I don't know about anyone else, but I had a smug look on my face the whole time.

In light of the Serenity/Endymion break-down, while I'm not quite a Serenity/Diamond shipper, I have to say that I've never liked him as a character as much as I do here. Same goes with Raye, and I'm enjoying seeing her gentle side. The scene when she extinguished the candle in Serenity's room was very sweet~

I'm really excited for further chapters, and eventually the ending of this story! I just hope that if it does lead up to a Serenity/Endymion pairing, that something major happens to Endymion to make him change his worldview. I've read far too many stories where he "comes to his senses" suddenly, or Serenity swallows her pride, etc. With two headstrong characters, getting them together won't be easy, but if anyone can write it believably I'm sure you can, as you've proved in the past 14 chapters! Good luck with the rest!

*tears* This was beautiful. I am so glad that you didn't put Endymion and Serenity back together. At this point he doesn't deserve her at all. I can't wait for the next chapter :)

You have no idea how excited I was to find out that you were returning to this story. I've finally made my way through the entire story again, and I was as utterly entranced by your tale as I was reading it for the first time. Your beautifully descriptive prose never fails to amaze me and you do a remarkable job with showing Serenity's growth. I'm glad to finally see her embracing the strength she has been reluctant to see in herself in the last chapter and I thought you depicted it perfectly.

I will be anxiously awaiting the next chapters. I'm dying to know what is going on with Endymion and what he's been up to since the brief encounter with Serenity a few chapters back. Best of luck with the writing. *cheers you on* ^^

I had forgotten most of the story as I read this last chapter & I considered rereading the story again. I'm hesitant though because I'm not sure when you're updating next & if it isn't soon, I'll end up forgetting the story once more.

Wow! I am speechless!

WISE: while there are some grammar and other little things that need attention, this story is incredible. I had not read it before, and as we have such a rich repository of fic in our archives, I am so happy to have started on this journey.

Here is a scene that warmed my heart and I could picture the little princess of silver hair, the eyes, the fear and the vulnerability, and in that image, are we not all moved, in that image can we but see a fragment of hope that lies within. This passage was like a lightniing bolt, it sparked something and also I admit, a few tears.

Beautiful story and you will see from this exert from the first chapter:

He fumbled with the hilt of his sword and then pulled it out with a smooth sliding noise, watching the girl closely. Her young eyes widened a fraction at the blade and her breaths quickened.

"I'm sorry," he said, voice hoarse and short. "I don't want to do this." He raised the sword, his own breaths ragged. He had braced himself for the child's
eyes boring into his--accusing as he deserved--but they were simply stuck on the sight of the sword. Tears skimmed down her cheeks and her small chest heaved.

Moments dragged, his fingers white in their grip as his sword loomed above her. She just stood there, frozen as if a rabbit caught in the sight of its prey.
Her strangled breaths and tears were like the sound of a deathly flood. He was already dropping his sword and wrapping his large arms around the terrified
girl, tears on his own face. She trembled and shook in his embrace, but slowly her fingers curled over the course material of his uniform and she hugged
him.

This chapter was especially fantastic -- the emotional situations, such as Luna's conflict over telling Serenity her true identity, were very well-written. Great job!

My only qualm about this section was when Luna told Serenity she was the princess -- the beginning of the conversation seemed a little forced, Luna's admission a little abrupt. But it was a small, negligible issue, and the chapter was amazing! Thank you so much for an enjoyable read!

Oooh I can't wait for the next chapter! I've just read from start to finish, and I've got to say, the plotline is really unique. I love the history of Tsuki no Namida, you've made it seem almost real - it's so depressing, but it's an event the reader must know more about.

I love how you've turned Endymion into your own character - he's still Endymion to the core, but he isn't a replica of the Endymions you read in most stories. For once, he isn't the perfect, handsome prince we've all known to love - he's harsh and ruthless, and I hate him! <<; Hahaha.. I can't wait to see more of him; to see if he'll change overtime.

Throughout the chapters, I've noticed your writing skills have seriously improved. They've always been good, but towards the last chapters, your characterization skills and description have both improved immensely, so kudos for that. ^^

I've noticed a few minor spelling errors (Do you know you called Serenity 'Serena' in chapter 8? o.O) but they're only minor, and no stories are flawless. Another one would be in chapter 9, "excepting her mother, that is." Feel free to yell at me if I'm wrong.. but it should be "except", not excepting. Other than that, the fic is fine, just a few minor errors. ^^

Overall, lovely story! And I REALLY can't wait for an update. I want to see how everything turns out between Endymion and Serenity, and what's going to happen now that Artemis' safehouse is gone. ;.;
