Authors Notes

Okay then, let me explain what this was all about.

At first I had the idea of doing a long (very long, actually) story about an ambiguous time period after Sailor Stars when the whole Neo-Queen Serenity / Crystal Tokyo / 30th Century Renaissance came about. The whole plot of the story was to revolve around where the Black Moon Clan came from, who the Wiseman was before he was basically possessed by the Death Phantom, and what our favorite character's roles were at the time.

Unfortunately in light of my other project "Untitled" and some other threads that I've started working on this story was shortened into sort of a prequel to Sailor Moon R about what happened right before Nemesis attacked. In realizing that I was going to shorten up the narrative I decided that I would try to fit as much "feel" of the various Sailor Moon incarnations into this story as possible.

I feel I touched on the original atmosphere and humor of the manga at the end of Chapter One with Serenity's lines and her return to Sailor Moon. I think I managed to sneak in some elements of the live action PGSM show in Chapter Two with the dealings of the Black Moon clan. The Japanese anime made itself known in the various fight scenes in Chapter Three and I think the North American version came across with the villans, specifically Emerald and her constant "wretched brat" comments.

So what we ended up with from my epic, sprawling vision is a four chapter short story that could've been told by any member of the cast later on in their lives about what happened right before the proverbial shit hit the fan in Crystal Tokyo.

Sorry if I disappointed anyone with its brevity. Maybe I'll return to the story down the road for a "special edition" or something. Ciao.
